The Russell Legion is proud to serve our local Veterans, promote Remembrance, and strengthen our Community. We do not receive funding from the Government of Canada or Veterans Affairs. All monies we generate through our events, leagues, membership dues and donations (except for Poppy donations) are used to keep our building operational and our programs and services alive. Please note that tax receipts are only provided to donations to the Poppy Fund. There are many ways to give:

Sponsorship Opportunities
Businesses, organizations, and individuals can support the Russell Legion through sponsorship. Sponsorships help fund community events, veteran initiatives, and special projects while demonstrating a commitment to supporting local veterans and community service. Donation to the Poppy Fund
Donations to the Poppy Fund are used exclusively to help local veterans and support local cadet corps. A tax receipt will be generated for donations to the Poppy Fund.
