Bursaries
Russell Legion Bursaries
Bursaries are available from the Russell Legion and are funded by our Branch Poppy Fund. Graduating students may qualify to receive a bursary toward their post-secondary education from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 372. Eligibility for the bursaries included:

Canadian or Commonweath War veterans and their children and grandchildren

Ordinary Members (veterans) of the Royal Canadian Legion and their children and grandchildren

Students must reside within the Russell Legion Poppy Boundary

Information and application for the 2027-2028 academic year will be posted here in April 2027.

Ontario Command Bursaries
The Provincial Bursaries are open from September until the last Friday of March in any school year. It is recommended to apply early, as funding may be limited. Please visit the Ontario Command website.
