Welcome to March 2022...

Spring is just around the corner…. The Russell Legion has been busy the past couple of months refreshing the downstairs lounge. We have now reopened downstairs.

On Saint Patrick’s Day we will welcome the sounds of live music with Local Talent Mike Shaw. We will have music being played from 5-8pm, door prizes and of course green beer.

We are working on bringing back events to the Legion this year. Stay Tuned for another Live Music Event that is being lined up for May 6th in our Upstairs Hall……

Our upstairs hall is ready for bookings again please contact the bar manager to book our hall for your next event.

February will soon arrive.....

We are excited with the arrival of February this also means the reopening of our Legion.

Join us on Tuesday February 1st from 2-9pm. Members and Non Members are always welcomed.

Welcome January

We hope everyone had a Happy And Healthy Christmas and New Years. January has arrived and we opened for a few days and unfortunately had to close due to the rising case numbers of Covid 19.

We hope this temporary closure wont last to long.. for now stay safe and healthy and we look forward to opening up soon….

The holidays are quickly approaching and we have our hours of operation during the holiday season.

December 24th 2-6pm.

December 25th, 26th, 27th closed. December 28th, 29th, 30th from 2-9pm.

December 31st open from 2-6pm.

January 1st, 2nd, 3rd closed.

Resume regular business hours on January 4th 2022.

2021 is almost coming to an end. We hope you had a healthy and happy 2021 and we wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

We look for ward to a brand new year in 2022. Stay tuned for new developments with our Lounge for 2022.

A big thank you to the businesses, schools and patrons of Russell, Embrun, Limoges, Vars and Casselman who supported our Poppy Campaign this year.

With your help and the support of our dedicated volunteers, 5 Cyclone Air Cadets and 2804 Casselman Cadets we raised the amount of $14,472.

The monies raised support the Perley Rideau Veterans Home, Veterans and their families, bursaries and our local Cadets.

We had an amazing Remembrance Day for 2021. Thank you to everyone who helped us with organizing and attending our Ceremony.
We had a great online presence with viewers watching us live as well from our Facebook page.

This past weekend we had our yearly Pool League Tournament which was won by Danny Bertrand. Thank you to everyone who attended its great to see us getting back in swing of things.

We are working on bringing Nevada back to the branch as well….. Start saving your change…..

The Bursary Information is in the top right tab there are two different bursaries which can be applied for.

Membership is growing as well You can become a member online or by coming into the Branch during opening hours.

2021 Remembrance Day

The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 372 Russell will be holding their Remembrance Day Ceremony on Thursday, November 11th at 11:00 a.m. Due to the instructions from Dominion Command for working within the restrictions imposed by the current pandemic, most of the wreaths will be pre-laid and there will NOT be a parade. The ceremony will be done virtually and available on Facebook; and information will be available on our Legion webpage
