The
Russell
Legion Branch 372 wishes to welcome you to the
2011
Russell CelticFest website!
Preparations have begun in earnest for the 5th edition of
CelticFest.. We are continuing the tradition of
being the biggest and best Celtic music festival in
Eastern Ontario.
As in past year's, we will be featuring some of the best
Celtic bands and music around, in an atmosphere that will
be sure to please the young and not-so-young. There will
be activities for the kids, concessions and a fully
licensed beer garden.
There will be a display of military vehicles and equipment
during the event that kids and adults will enjoy.
We will be hosting an informal 'teaser' show Friday night,
June 17th, in the Club Room at the Legion featuring the
band Herringbone. Come and have a taste of
CelticFest, enjoy the Legion hospitality and pick up your
tickets for the festivities to be held the next day.
So mark your calendars! June 18th, 2011, the Russell
Fairgrounds. All you'll need to bring is you and
your lawn chair!
